The MicroCam DVR is must for any engineer who requires a simple and cost effective way to record covert cameras or temporary CCTV installations where space or power for a standard DVR is limited. Featuring 'video motion detection', the MicroCam DVR can be used to record event only activations to extend the record storage time from the SD Card. Like most DVRs, there is an option to set up the MicroCam DVR so that when the SD card is full it will continue to record by overwriting the very oldest stored video first. Alternatively you can set the DVR to stop recording when the card is full. Once you have recorded on to the SD card you can simply play back the images directly into any device with a standard composite video input directly from the DVR or you can copy the files to a computer and play them back using a standard media player. Using a built-in LI-ION battery it's easy to use the MicroCam DVR without any mains power so it can be used in situations where other standard DVR models can't. The MicroCam DVR has an additional power input (PSU supplied) for an external power source so that the MicroCam DVR doesn't need to use batteries where a mains supply is available.
