COMPATABILITY TESTS

A 1:400 dilution of DIFFICIL-S^® was prepared and various materials immersed in the solution for a period of 24 hours to check their compatability with the product:-

mild steel	discolouration seen after a few hours
galvanised steel	no visual change
plastic	no visual change
wood	no visual change
dyed cotton cloth	mild bleaching seen after 5 minutes
formica work top	no visual change
microfibre	no change

Testing has been undertaken for the compatability of DIFFICIL-S^® on polypropylene carpets and was found to be compatible with the following:-

JHS HOSPI-SUPREME (100% 2ply high twist, heat set polypropylene)

JHS HOSPI-LUX (100% stain proof polypropylene)

HECKMONDWIKE PLATINUM CARE (100% solution dyed polypropylene)

Testing for compatibility with carpets manufactured by Danfloor UK is currently ongoing for their range of products predominantly used within the healthcare sector.

As a precaution, always test a small section of carpet in an inconspicuous area with DIFFICIL-S^® prior to treating the entire carpet. Please follow the carpet manufacturer's guidelines regarding the use of cleaning agents as Clinimax Ltd cannot accept responsibility or liability for cosmetic damage to carpets.

DIFFICIL-S^® has recently undertaken testing on mattresses manufactured by Invacare UK who are leading suppliers of healthcare products and the results are proving very successful.

DIFFICIL-S^® has a near-neutral Ph which makes it non-corrosive on metal equipment and utensils.
