New Bodyguards SafeDon™ latex examination gloves are non-sterile, powder free and for single purpose use. The gloves are ambidextrous and fully textured. The surface is polymer coated providing a light grip. The cuff is beaded to prevent roll back and tearing.

The gloves are suitable for general non-sterile procedures where the patient or health worker is not latex sensitised.

This latex glove contains less than 50 micrograms per gram of extractable protein and conforms to British Standards EN455 2000 parts 1, 2 and 3.

Despite the introduction of hand-washing initiatives, the level of hand-washing cannot be guaranteed to reach 100% compliance. Gloves, traditional glove boxes and dispensers can themselves be a vehicle for contamination!

Loose fitting face masks are designed to help stop droplets from spreading from the person wearing the mask and to protect the wearer's mouth and nose from splashes. Face masks are not created to protect the wearer from breathing in very small particles. Respirators are made for just that.

Dispensing any glove type “Cuff 1st” helps to reduce the contamination normally caused by the traditional glove dispensing methods by which the user can touch the glove box with dirty hands or remove gloves from the box by the fingers or palm areas.

The Bodyguards SafeDon™ glove box is securely contained within a dispensing unit that has an anti-microbial protective additive which helps to prevent the build up and growth of organisms on the glove dispenser.
